The Verification Process Is Over

Registration of participants of the Festival Film Indonesia 2011 (FFI) has closed 17 October 2011. Furthermore, the Executive Committee (CL) performs the verification process information in the form and complete the registration. Some of the completeness of it among other things a copyright statement, a letter of mark pass the sensor, and the material of the film.

After the verification process is complete, all the work of entry into the competition in their respective competitions. FFI 2011 has four (4) types of competition i.e. film cinema, short films, documentaries, and television films. The overall process of judging was done gradually and simultaneous, who are all going to end up before the announcement of the Nominations which will be held on 27 November 2011 in East Kalimantan.

Judging television films have taken place from 12 October. Recorded 73 film register (see http://www.festivalfilmindonesia.org/film-televisi), but the film was disqualified because of a variety of 19 causes.

There are some interesting findings on the work of FFI participants this year 2011. In the list of participants of the film there's only one movie-themed horror, namely the sacrificial anodes are Jailangkung. This fact is very different with FFI in previous years, where the number of works of this type of film is very dominate. This Data is interesting when looking at the number of horror-themed movie there are still many released throughout 2011.

Whereas, for the short film competition session there are 99 works of participants who qualify for verification. This number increased dramatically compared to previous years. When created, the participants send the mapping works as well as more diverse demographic. This fact is of course encouraging the Committee. This shows that young people who come from the film community, campus, and kine Club still has interest and high expectations to the FFI as a prestigious film appreciation activities.

For the documentary film competition there are some works which became the talks throughout late 2010 to October 2011. Some of that work such as Metamorfobolous and Prison and Paradise. When Metamorfobolous tells the story of the great Motherland music group SlanK, Prison and Paradise unveil more in the family actors and victims of the terrorists.

The Nomination Committee minute movie theaters as well as the Jury of short films and Documentaries will begin the judging process started. Of course the public hoped the jury would choose group elements and works of good quality. With a better nomination we can hope will emerge a winner anyway.
